New French Door Refrigerators from Sub-Zero
French Door Refrigerators have become very popular over the last decade. However, there hasn't been much selection of French Door Refrigerators in the built-in category. Not until now, that is. The leading manufacturer of built-in refrigerators, Sub-Zero, has introduced a 36” French door refrigerator/freezer, the latest addition to their line of built-in refrigeration. The French-door style is popular for its looks and appreciated for its functional benefits. Open either of the two, 18”-wide doors independently, or open them together for full access to the refrigerator’s interior even in narrower spaces.
Like all Sub-Zero built-in models, it maintains strict standards for reliability and performance, and is available in timeless stainless steel or ready to be fitted with a custom panel overlay.
Fresh foods need chilly, humid air to stay fresh. Frozen foods require frigid, dry air to preserve flavor. Yet the typical refrigerator-freezer compromises, using a single compressor that lets air circulate between the two sides. Not with Sub-Zero. They don’t compromise food’s freshness and flavor. Their built-in has dual refrigeration — separate, sealed systems for refrigerator and freezer that ensure optimum preservation conditions for each type of food.
Digital controls keep the temperature within 1°F of where you set it. Doors seal magnetically on all four sides, locking in cold air and saving energy. There’s even a “fridge within a fridge,” a lower-temperature, higher-humidity zone that keeps vegetables crisp and flavorful even longer.
To help you make the most of all this innovative food preservation technology, freshness cards inside the refrigerator show you the optimum storage temperature for each type of food. They even tell you which foods not to refrigerate
