West Los Angeles is a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles. It is divided by the 405 Freeway, and each side is often treated as a distinct neighborhood. The West Los Angeles community plan is an area recognized by the city of Los Angeles.

The general boundaries are Centinela Avenue, Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica Boulevard, Pico Boulevard, National Boulevard, Canfield Avenue, Durango Avenue and Exposition Boulevard. These boundaries do vary, and the term West Los Angeles is sometimes used to describe the whole Westside that includes Venice and Santa Monica, but the City of Los Angeles and Communities maps the area with more specific boundaries. 

West Los Angeles has a number of public and private schools, and the Stoner Recreation Center is in the area. This center includes barbecue pits, baseball diamonds, basketball courts, football fields, and a water park. The Annual Cherry Blossom Festival is held at this park, but there are other parks in the area including Reynier Park and Cheviot Hills Park. Additionally, West Los Angeles is home to Sawtelle Boulevard, one of the most prominent streets for fantastic food in Los Angeles.
