While Carson experiences limited rainfall during the summer, it receives sufficient precipitation throughout the year to avoid being classified as a semi-arid climate. Visitors to Carson should also be prepared for the “June Gloom” phenomenon, which involves morning overcast or foggy skies giving way to sunshine by early afternoon.
