Introducing the New Sub-Zero All-in-One Beverage Center
The Sub-Zero brand is easily recognized as offering the highest quality in refrigeration. Although Sub-Zero offers among the best products on the market, the brand continues to make improvements to better serve their customers. The company sought feedback in 2014 with the launch of the IW-30R wine storage unit, and it was reported that the only thing missing was the inclusion of an ice maker. This inspired the development of the IW-30CI, a 30” integrated wine storage appliance with ice maker and refrigerator and freezer drawers as an all-in-one beverage center. Innovative Design The IW-30CI upper section is designed to guard against the main enemies of wine: humidity, vibration, light, and heat. There are two zones to store your reds and whites at their ideal temperatures. Sub-Zero has also paid attention to the demands of entertaining, so the IW-30CI features impressive functionality including a refrigerator drawer for all your necessities, including cheese and garnishes and a freezer drawer for other supplies such as frozen fruit or additional items like frozen pizza. There are four temperature zones with three evaporators to ensure that humidity is precisely controlled. The overall design provides the capacity for a total of 86 bottles of wine. The IW-30CI can be installed in your cabinetry with the custom panels allowing a seamless installation in any space. Alternatively, you can choose the stainless steel accessory panels for a sleek and eye catching finish. From March 1st, there are new rebates on Sub-Zero, Wolf and Outdoor products. CLICK HERE TO WATCH THIS WEEK'S VIDEO Outdoor Kitchens Can Finally Live up to the Name The earliest versions of an outdoor kitchen could hardly be classified as a kitchen. Most designs were simply an extension of a gas grill. When the grill surrendered mobility and was anchored to a natural gas connection, they were supplemented by side burners, surrounds and other accessories that were often indoor fixtures or appliances that had been modified for outdoor use. In recent years, there have been high-end appliance manufacturers such as Sub-Zero Wolf who have been producing durable versions of almost anything in an indoor kitchen for your outdoor kitchen. Today, you can equip your outdoor kitchen with icemakers, freezers, refrigerators, warming ovens, dishwashers and more. Grills have also become more elaborate with once extravagant features such as low heat smokers and pizza ovens becoming more readily available for your outdoor kitchen. This has created a more formal and defined area to ensure that your outdoor kitchen now lives up to the name. The Importance of the Right Grill A grill acts as a cornerstone for any outdoor kitchen. Fortunately, grills now offer the versatility -

More Free Stuff
Choose your brand. Buy something. Get free appliances.Free Appliances with Purchase at UAKCIs it too good to be true? The copycat effect is here in the form of free dishwashers and other great appliances. For years, Thermador has been promoting a free dishwasher with the purchase of other select Thermador appliances. Why? Brands are often famous for a single product category. Thermador, is famous for its cooking products. Now a part of BSH, one of Thermador's sister companies is Bosch, a brand that is known for its dishwashers. So, it only makes sense that Thermador dishwashers are manufactured by Bosch. Yet Thermador customers would consistently purchase a Thermador oven, and a Thermador cooktop, and then choose a different brand dishwasher, perhaps a Miele, an Asko, or yes even a dishwasher from their sister company, Bosch. But Thermador wants their customers to buy a kitchen full of Thermador appliances. Voilà, give customers a free dishwasher when they buy other Thermador appliances, too. This package might include not just cooking products, but also Thermador refrigerators, vent hoods, etc.Well, it turned out to be such a good idea that other brands now offer free dishwashers or other appliances, when you select their brands. Right now, if you make a qualifying purchase at Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center, you can get a free dishwasher or more from the following brands:GE Free Dishwasher RebatePurchase 3 or more qualifying GE Cafe Appliances and recieve a GE Cafe dishwasher valued up to $1000Thermador 1-2-FREE PromotionIgnite your imagination. -

Looking Inside Your Refrigerator
What's Inside the FridgeRefrigerators with Cameras and See Through DoorsOne of the most recent trends in refrigerators is adding cameras inside to let you know what is inside your refrigerator. Some manufacturers also have the low-tech solution of having a window on the door. We'll take a look (joke intended) below. The low tech window solution means that you have to be standing in front of your fridge to see what is inside, while the camera solution lets you check the refrigerator contents while you're in the grocery store or elsewhere:Window in the door refrigeratorsSub ZeroSub Zero has at least two versions of full-sized refrigerators with windows in the door which offer a view of what is inside. The Grand Pro 48 Refrigerator and the 36" Single Door Refrigerator with window. Both refrigerators are leaders in their class. The Grand Pro is a unique refrigerator which has the appearance of a refrigerator that you might find in the back of a restaurant. As you can see, it's a large 48" wide refrigerator, and one of the upper doors has a see through window so you can view what's inside. The 36" built-in glass door all refrigerator, BI-36RG has a full length window giving you view of the entire contents.Neither of these refrigerators have built-in cameras, but you can look at the contents to your heart's content as long as you are standing in the kitchen.FrigidaireThe new Frigidaire Professional refrigerator with a glass door -

New Appliances Fit for Los Angeles
GE to Market Haier AppliancesUAKC offers more appliance choices with HaierIt's only been a couple of short years since GE Appliances became part of the Worldwide Haier Group of appliances. At this year's Builder/Kitchen and Bath Show, GE announced the addition of Haier Appliances to its lineup. This is good news to many in the LA basin. There are an amazing number of homes and apartments in the LA area which have 24" wall and base cabinets. Replacing appliances in these cabinets can be a real problem since most US appliances are designed to fit in 30" cabinets. We've been able to get by all these years by replacing appliances with some 24" wide low end brands which have limited appeal, and more recently with some European brands which commonly are built at 60 centimeters, a width that fits nicely in a 24" space. Also, both Viking and Sub Zero Wolf have added some products in this dimension. Therefore, it's really good news that GE is now launching an updated line of Haier appliances that (for the most part) are designed to fit that 24" space. Here's what GE's vice president of sales, Robert Posthauer had to say at this years IBS/KBIS in Orlando:“Haier offers a full product suite of both built-in and freestanding appliances that fit the needs for smaller footprints and offers our customers new opportunities." The line includes some needed products for this space such as a 24" over the range microwave as well as this stunning 4 door refrigerator -

Saving Money on Luxury Brands
Save on Miele and Sub-Zero Wolf at UAKCMajor appliance brands are often divided into categories such as Economy brands Amana, and Mass market brands GE, Whirlpool, Frigidaire, and Luxury brands Miele, and Sub-Zero Wolf. Some brands cross more than one category, while others squeeze in between. For example, there is an ongoing effort among some brands to carve out space between mass and luxury brands. These brands fit into categories such as Premium, eg. KitchenAid or even Super-Premium. Today, however, we're going to briefly discuss two brands that proudly consider themselves Luxury brands: Miele and Sub-Zero Wolf.Miele is a German brand that has a history that can be traced back to 1899. Their motto Immer Besser translates to Forever Better and the Miele family follows that principle today as a worldwide high end appliance brand. One of my favorite Miele products is this dual fuel 48" wide range.Sub-Zero Wolf is a U.S. enterprise based in Wisconsin. They lay claim to inventing built-in refrigeration for the home. A hugely successful company, Sub-Zero purchased the Wolf brand for residential use (Wolf continues as a separate company manufacturing restaurant ranges). Now, Sub-Zero Wolf offers a complete line of luxury refrigeration and cooking products for the home. Sub-Zero is famous for this Sub-Zero Pro 48 refrigerators. As Premium brands, both Miele and Sub-Zero Wolf are expensive, but that doesn't mean you can't save money when purchasing them.
