The Benefits of an Outdoor Pizza Oven
Almost everyone enjoys a slice of pizza, whether it is an accompaniment to a nice glass of wine or a great family dinner. But, if you typically heat up a frozen pizza or order takeout, you are likely to be missing out on one of the best dining experiences; creating your own pizza in an outdoor pizza oven. Pizza ovens are one of the reasons why a pizza at a restaurant tends to taste far better than you can make in your oven at home. Fortunately, pizza ovens are no longer the exclusive domain of restaurants, and you can purchase one for your home. So, here we’ll explore the benefits of an outdoor pizza oven with some tips for choosing the right one for your outdoor space. The Pizza Oven Basics: Before you can appreciate the benefits of a pizza oven, you need to know why it is different compared to a conventional oven or grill. Regular ovens are designed to hit a maximum temperature of approximately 500º, but pizza ovens can reach temperatures of up to 900º. This is essential for that crispy, delicious crust. Another key difference is that pizza ovens require the pizza to be directly placed on the floor inside the appliance, rather than sitting on a rack as it would inside an oven or grill. 6 Outdoor Kitchen Benefits
The interest in outdoor projects was limited during the recent pandemic. But, people now have renewed interest in outdoor living upgrades that are comfortable, practical and life affirming. This is especially true with an outdoor kitchen, food tends to taste better in the fresh air and this is a great way to combine cooking and socializing. In this article, we will look at six outdoor kitchen benefits in more detail, they are: 1. Increasing the Livable Space in Your Home Let’s face it, most people don’t use their backyard much and this is a huge waste of potential. Indoor kitchens are an evergreen focus of remodeling projects because they add a lot of value and they serve a practical purpose. But, an outdoor kitchen can form the core of an entire entertainment, dining and socializing area. 2. Cooking Outside When the weather is gorgeous outdoors, why should you have to prepare dinner indoors? A modern outdoor kitchen can have all the usual amenities that you need, including a refrigerator, an ice machine, storage, a dishwasher, cooking surfaces, an oven, counterspace, and much more. As an added bonus, you have ready access to your grill which is something that you certainly could not do indoors. When you cook outdoors the experience is much different, it’s easier to be social and prepare dinner at the same time. 3. Effortless Expansion of Your Summer Menu When we split our cooking efforts between a kitchen and the grill outside, it’s easy to make mistakes. -

Top Tips for Great Grilling
One of the best things about a sunny spell is being outdoors and grilling with family and friends. Of course, there are responsibilities to safe grilling, so we have compiled some top tips for grilling to ensure that everyone has a safe, great time. Set Up Away From Structures The location of your grilling spot is crucial. Being too close to structures could be tempting fate and leaving you vulnerable to starting a fire. Obviously, a grill is made for outdoor use, but being outdoors doesn’t mean that it is safer than cooking in your home. Covered decks, overhanging branches, or anything potentially flammable such as dry plants or lattices should be kept as far away from your grilling station as possible. Every backyard is different, so you need to look carefully at your yard to ensure that you set up your grilling station in a safe spot. Keep Your Grill Clean One of the most basic things to do for excellent grilling is cleaning. When fat and buildup accumulates on the grill plates, it increases your risk of a grease fire, so cleaning is crucial. Use a wire brush to scrub your grill grates before you use your grill. Most of this debris will fall into the tray below the grill grates, so you need to remove this accumulation while the grill is completely cool. Consider Your Clothing While you may want to look your best when your outdoor entertaining, but your clothing should always be “safety first.” From -

CLICK HERE TO WATCH THIS WEEK'S VIDEO Outdoor Kitchens Can Finally Live up to the Name The earliest versions of an outdoor kitchen could hardly be classified as a kitchen. Most designs were simply an extension of a gas grill. When the grill surrendered mobility and was anchored to a natural gas connection, they were supplemented by side burners, surrounds and other accessories that were often indoor fixtures or appliances that had been modified for outdoor use. In recent years, there have been high-end appliance manufacturers such as Sub-Zero Wolf who have been producing durable versions of almost anything in an indoor kitchen for your outdoor kitchen. Today, you can equip your outdoor kitchen with icemakers, freezers, refrigerators, warming ovens, dishwashers and more. Grills have also become more elaborate with once extravagant features such as low heat smokers and pizza ovens becoming more readily available for your outdoor kitchen. This has created a more formal and defined area to ensure that your outdoor kitchen now lives up to the name. The Importance of the Right Grill A grill acts as a cornerstone for any outdoor kitchen. Fortunately, grills now offer the versatility -

Does your outdoor kitchen need a dishwasher?
What? An outdoor dishwasher? You bet! Think about how practical this is to clean up after all your outdoor cooking. No dragging those dirty, dripping barbecue utensils back into the house. Cleanup is a snap because an outdoor rated dishwasher is now available. Outdoor rated means it is approved for outdoor use. It's just like an indoor dishwasher, with all the cleaning cycles and capacity, but sturdier, and protected from the outdoor environment. The wiring and electronics are reinforced to withstand harsh conditions of both cold and warm climates. Operationally, it works the same, and needs hookup to a water supply hose, a drain hose, and of course an electric cord. Your outdoor kitchen may have a grill, a refrigerator, even a pizza oven and microwave, but it's not complete without this new outdoor dishwasher from Asko.
