  New From Viking: French-Door Double Oven Coming Soon to Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center Viking Professional French-Door Double Oven Although the new Viking French-door oven is not exclusive, Blue-Star and American Range, also have French-door ovens, Viking is certainly the first mainstream brand to offer this configuration. The real benefit to this setup is the convenience of not having a drop down oven door blocking your access to the oven cavity. This is particularly problematic with an oven located at eye-level such as the upper oven in a double oven. Placing and removing a turkey in the upper oven can be a daunting task.
