Whirlpool is the world's largest appliance manufacturerUS Whirlpool brands available at Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center At around $20 billion in annual sales Whirlpool stakes its claim as the World's largest appliance manufacturer. Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center (UAKC) is your best choice for any of these Whirlpool brands.Whirlpool is also believed to manufacture more appliances in the U.S. than any other brand, and they also claim that a higher percentage of their U.S. sales of appliances are manufactured in the U.S. than any of Whirlpool's top competitors. Whirlpool has actually moved some production back to the U.S. from Mexico and elsewhere, and they have stated a desire to produce products in the country where they sell them wherever feasible. In all likelihood, the Whirlpool manufacturing facility in Clyde, Ohio is the largest laundry (washer & dryer) manufacturing facility in the World.Founded by the Upton brothers in 1911, Whirlpool grew to be a major manufacturer in the post WWII war years. In the 70's and 80's, they purchased KitchenAid and then acquired N.V. Philips' European appliance business which helped make Whirlpool a major factor in appliances globally. With the purchase of Maytag, and its Jenn-Air and Amana brands in 2005, Whirlpool became the largest appliance manufacture in the world.Universal -

Every additional appliance you purchase from a given manufacturer is one less that you purchase from their competitor. Therefore, they
