Alternatives to Stainless Steel Choosing Appliance Colors at UAKC Pantone has chosen Radiant Orchid as the color of the year for 2014. If nothing else, this color is sure to be a conversation starter. In major appliances, Stainless Steel continues to reign supreme, though stainless steel has not been without its challengers.
