International Builders Show andKitchen And Bath Industry Show On Feb. 3-6, 2014 the International Builders Show (IBS) and the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) for the first time will be co-locating their shows at the Las Vegas Convention Center. Product lines that will be showcased include many of the major appliance and plumbing fixture brands that you can find at Universal Appliance and Kitchen Center (UAKC). Manufacturers often show new products to get opinions and recommendations from industry veterans. The shows also provide an annual opportunity for customers to meet with suppliers, discuss concerns, and plan the year ahead. Just to give you an idea, induction cooking has been previewed at these shows for at least 10-15 years. Now, it is finally a reality with nearly all cooking product manufacturers offering some induction cooktops and/or ranges. Similarly, various speed cooking products have been shown over the years with mixed success. Both GE and Whirlpool have versions (Advantium and Velos) on the market now, but Thermador's Jet Impingement system shown in the early 2000's never launched. What will we see this year?
